Vinicola Vedovato Mario Srl was founded in 1950 as a family-run business to supply local establishments with packaged wine. The founders, Guido and Miranda Vedovato, were later joined by their son Mario, who started the business of selling bulk wine.
In the 1970s the company started to grow, expanding sales first in the Veneto Region and then in northern Italy. The turning point came in 1984, when they started to export: wine sales increased, infrastructures were developed and the workforce grew.
In 1998, the third generation joined the business: Simone and Fabio continued the company policy aimed at product quality, the traceability of the entire production process and a high control standard. These objectives are the foundation for continuous evolution and development, which from 1950 to today have driven Vinicola Vedovato. Decades of experience have led the company to become an important reference point in the bulk wine sector, both in Italy and abroad.
Today Vinicola Vedovato, in its historic location in Trebaseleghe, outside Padua, has been extended and modernized, occupying a surface area of around 25,000 sq. m, 5,500 of which are covered and 4,700 of green open space, with a storage capacity of almost 20,000,000 litres.
The company operates in Italy, as well as abroad (over 20 markets) and is continuously expanding.
