CZECH REPUBLIC ITALIAN WINE SUPPLY

WINE EXPORT FROM ITALY TO CZECH REPUBLIC

The Czech Republic is a large beer producer and Czech consumers drink the most beer in the world, even if they also drink a lot of wine, one-third of which is produced nationally and two-thirds imported. The Czech market is quite established, still very sensitive to price as a criterion for purchase, with a preference for white wines over reds, but where rosè and sparkling wines are increasingly appreciated.

In any case, it is a reference market for us, since the early 2000s, when we were one of the first exporters of generic white and red wines to the country, at the time outside the European Union, to then become a very sensitive market in relation to the quality of wines and services offered.

Today we can highlight an increase in demand for quality varietal wines, such as Chardonnay, Merlot e Cabernet.
